Create a New Project

(Apurva Ashok) #1

To begin a new open textbook project on the Rebus Community platform, follow these steps:

  1. Go to How to Start a New Project.
  2. Click “+ New Topic.” Fill in the template for your project summary that appears in the text box. Click “+ Create Topic.”
  3. Once you’ve created a new topic for your project, we will create a dedicated discussion space for your project under Open Textbooks in Development. This step will take 1-3 business days.
:point_up_2: This is your project’s home. It allows you to host conversations with your team, and it makes your project easier to find.

Next steps: Post a call for participation in the Contributor Marketplace Make sure you link to your new project’s home in all your communications, so it is easy for new and returning team members to find.
